Update: According to Windows Central, Microsoft has removed this option from Windows 11 beta with Insider Build 22000.65. Make sure you’re an advanced user and back it up before proceeding. Note: This trick also involves hacking the Registry which isn’t for the faint of heart.
There is no guarantee that this will continue to work as Windows 11 matures in its development process. Important Note: This trick works at the time of this writing when the first version of the Windows 11 beta was rolled out to Insiders. And with a Registry tweak, you can get it on Windows 11. So it may not be that grateful if Windows 10 removes live tiles from Start Menu.The Windows 10 Start menu is similar, but is clunkier and has live tiles. Windows 10 leaked build 18947 update comes with a new Start Menu design without live tiles. To turn off live tiles, you can right-click a tile and click More and select Turn live tile off. You can also drag a tile to the bottom of Start to create a new group, and give it a name. You can just drag a tile to move it into the place. If you have many live tiles in Start, you may want to move or organize them in groups. You can also rearrange and move tiles in Start. You can right-click a live tile and select Resize and select a preferred size. There are 4 different sizes of tiles available for choosing: small, medium, wide and large. You can also resize tiles in Start Menu if you like.
